Competitions

The first International climbing Competition took place in Bardonecchia (Italy) in 1985. At that time the climbing community was divided about the opportunity of creating competitions. Catherine wanted just to try it and do her best. She was the best for speed, style and difficulty. Five years long she focused on competitions, and remained at the top level.

1986 : 1° in Arco (Italie) and Bardonecchia
1987 : 1° in Lyon
1988 : 1° in Bardonecchia and 2° in Bercy
1989 : 1° in Snowbird (USA), 4° in Birmingham (UK)
1990 : 3° in Snowbird.
