Namche
Bazar is the most famous sherpa village in Nepal. Facing Namche's
natural amphitheater, a waterfall freezes in winter : it becomes
climbable. 800 meters of ice up to a remote plateau. Catherine and Erik
Decamp did the first ascent in December 1994. Christmas at the bivouac !
The film "La cascade" has been made in this icefall.
