In
1985 Catherine reaches the top of "El Puro" (The cigar) alone and
without rope. It's her first visit to the Mallos de Riglos, in Spain.
The conglomerate is rather intimidating, and this needle is absolutely
vertical. It remained unclimbed until 1953 : the Argonese climbers had
won a long and sometimes fatal competition their Catalan peers.
